1 Prof. Sabit Olagoke, the founder of Shafaudeen in Islam Worldwide has donated ICT equipment to the Oyo State Chapter of Sports Writers Association of Nigeria(SWAN).
2 Olagoke presented the equipment to the SWAN leaders on Sunday at the Islamic organization’s headquarters in Wakajaye area of Ibadan.
3 The News Agency of Nigeria reports that Olagoke, who is also the Spiritual Head of the organisation, presented a set of computers with all necessary accessories to Oyo SWAN.
4 He said the donation was in recognition of the association’s roles as the mirror and watchdog of the society.
5 Olagoke commended Oyo SWAN for its contributions to the development of sports in the state.
6 He urged sports writers to continue assisting in the discovery and nurturing of sports talents in the country.
7 “The role of the media in our society cannot be under-estimated.
8 Oyo SWAN has always been assisting Shafaudeen in Islam Worldwide for a long time.
9 “We therefore present the set of computers to Oyo SWAN in recognition of the support we have received from the association,” he said.
10 Mr Niyi Alebiosu, the State SWAN Chairman, thanked Olagoke and the entire members of Shafaudeen in Islam Worldwide for the donation.
11 Alebiosu said that the association and
sports journalists in the state would continue to appreciate the fatherly support they enjoyed from the Islamic cleric.

12 He pledged the continued support of sports writers to the Islamic organization and the nation’s sports sector.
